On Saturday, I got to enjoy one of my favorite perks of being the wife of a military pilot—spouse flights! I also go to be on one of Dave’s last flights with the Air Force, which was awesome…=).
The only down side is my helicopter broke so I only received about half of my flight. The trees didn’t change color that much yet, so hopefully next year will be even more beautiful!
Every time I drive or am flown downtown, I am amazed at all of the amazing places that are here. I absolutely love living in Washington, D.C. I really hope that we get another assignment here…the work is great, the city is great, the weather is pretty good…and we have an airport with Southwest so cheap flights.
