Today, we spent the morning in Calvert County. My goal each day is to try and wear Emma out. I have failed. She plays so hard in the morning, I hope for an afternoon nap, and I end up with a cranky girl who doesn’t listen even when a nap is in the cards.
We headed to North Beach for a walk on the Boardwalk so I could wear Emma out a bit before storytime at the Railway Museum.

I learned at playgroup yesterday that Emma needs snacks. I am starting to think part of her problems with us lately is she is hungry but doesn’t know it.

Seagulls were everywhere. I think once we move we’re going to walk the boardwalk more often.

My goal was to get Emma running. The best part of the boardwalk is she can run and I don’t have to worry about cards.

She beat us.

Liam, as always, was adorable.

This is probably my favorite picture of the day.

He is so happy! This time it was because he got out of the stroller. He needs to learn to walk. 🙂

Running girl!

Love her spunk

She likes climbing on the benches like this.

So proud of herself!

Liam was intrigued. Emma watched everything and behaved well…just so reserved.

The weather was gorgeous!

Chocolate at the end of story time made her smile.

This boy always smiles for the camera.

This was what I worked on today…more staining during nap time.

And this boy spent a good portion of the afternoon while Emma napped playing in boxes.
