So I am not very excited about 2018 for a lot of reasons, but I am going to try and knock off a lot of things on my to-do list, and I’m planning on tracking my adventures in reading, cooking, and parenting here. So be prepared for a more active blog space here!
I’ll also be taking pictures and featuring my favorite home decorating projects, too! So be ready for a more thoughtful Teresa as I try to pull away more from social media (except for work) and do more documenting of my life.
So here’s how I’ll start 2018…some of the last photos I took in 2017. I am working on taking more pictures of what I love, and not just clients. I know I can’t commit to a 365-day project, but I am excited to work on my own goals on my terms.
While I am not thrilled about many parts of what I know are coming in 2018, mainly Mark’s deployment and what obstacles that brings to him, us, me, and our family, I am trying to look at the bright side. One of the bright sides is that I live 10 minutes away from here. I am never moving again. I love my home, and I am so happy with the life I am building with my husband for us and our children. It’s great to slowly learn how to become part of a community. I am in love with Calvert County, DC, Gonzaga, and my home. I am so grateful for the many friendships this year has brought and hope that they only continue to get stronger.
