Jacksons’ Visit and China Dinner

Over the weekend, Mark’s parents finally came to visit! This proves that even though Mark is 30, he can still make them feel a bit guilty for never seeing him. We had a blast. On Friday, everyone (except Teresa) went on Segway tours of DC. Pictures of that are coming…

On Saturday, we trooped around looking at monuments in the cold and tried to avoid the rain. Then, we headed to Mass and hung out in Georgetown. Sunday was beautiful. We watched part of the Marine Marathon and saw Arlington with the gorgeous fall flowers.

Yesterday, Oct. 29 was Grandma Ohls’ birthday, so in her memory we had our annual china dinner…after all, she gave us the china as a wedding gift! The menu consisted of yummy comfort foods Grandma would have loved…pork tenderloin, stuffing (with cornbread in it), mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, and rolls.

Today, Teresa had part one of three visits for her root canal. Say a prayer she continues to not have much pain.
