The morning started off with ambitious intentions. We were dressed for a run at Bolling and out the door early. My car needed gas, though. We stopped at a gas station nearby to get just a few dollars; Mark accidentally left his wallet on the top of the car. We didn’t realize it until we approached Bolling and he needed his ID to get on base. We made a quick U-turn and headed back, hoping to find his wallet.
Miracle of miracles…we found the wallet; the cash was on it but nothing was in it. I started looking along the road, and slowly Mark and I found everything that was in it scattered along the street. We still can’t believe we found every important piece of information.
Because we had a light breakfast and running didn’t happen, we grabbed breakfast and headed to run errands: Lowes and Safeway. Mark is putting together a new entertainment center for the TV at the new house and we needed to get the stain for it.
Here’s the rest of our lazy day in pictures.

I played more with my new lens. Isn’t Darcy a gorgeous dog?

Liam modeled for me.

Both kids took great naps tonight. Suprisingly, Liam napped longer than Emma. That NEVER happens. Emma spent a few minutes post nap playing video games with her daddy.

One of my all-time favorite former students, Jori, came over for dinner tonight. I so love getting to be “friends” after I am “teacher”. Emma pretty much thinks any guest is here to see here, so she convinced Jori to read her some books.

After Jori left, Emma wanted to go outside. Shoes of choice were the cowboy boots. Remember Emma was born in Texas.

Emma ran up and down the front hill a few times to get some much-needed energy out.

Still running…

Begging me to run with her…

I said no so she ran to get me.

Liam cuddled with Mark while Emma acted crazy.

Emma lectured us.

I tried to get a cute pic of the three of them. Emma will never pose. Liam always looks awesome and he’s the baby! It’s so frustrating…this is the best I got!
