Today, Mark found out that he is going to be promoted to Lt. Col. I am so so so so so proud of him. He has worked his tail off for this. He’s coined a new term for his Air Force life lately…he keeps getting brussel sprouts. He gets this jobs that he is told will be “good for him” and we have had no way of knowing whether or not it would ever pan out. From being Shepro’s exec to going to Iraq for a year to a random Huey job in San Antonio to being in charge of Plans and Programs at Andrews….Mark has taken assignment after assignment and job after job that he hasn’t really wanted in hopes that they would get him here. Now we have to just keep our fingers crossed that he gets a command job…the big dream. 🙂
