If you are reading this today, please say a prayer for my niece Maggie who is in surgery right now. I love you Magster.
So, everything went well with my surgery Wednesday. I’ve just been really, really tired. My doctor trimmed the extra flesh in my uterus, and I did have endometriosis. The doctor was able to get rid of most of it, and she said it wasn’t that bad of a case of it. My ovaries and fallopian tubes looked perfect, and she thinks that my issues were just implantation issues and that the surgeries fixed it. So, hopefully in six weeks we can move back to trying to have kids again.
I haven’t taken any of the pain meds, but I’ve been taking my antibiotics and ibuprofen. I’ve been really tired since surgery. I really wanted to go to work, but my doctor didn’t want me to drive and everyone ganged up on me and convinced me that going to work wasn’t a bright idea. Mark’s mom spent the night with me the first night to make sure I was ok. I’m so thankful to her and Mary Pat for taking care of me. Mark baby-sat me from Iraq yesterday and has been checking in on me today.
I’ve been really tired today, and my stomach has been upset. I think it’s nervousness about Maggie. I know how scared I was going into my surgeries. I’m just praying that God’s grace works through the doctors’ hands and that they are able to fully heal the cutest two-year-old on earth.
